Best Present Ever
Hi folks! DC Juris here. I'll be your guest host for today. For those of you who don't know me, I'm a transgender fella who writes GLBTQ and heterosexual romance, but mostly m/m.
I'm excited to be guesting today, because today is my thirty-third birthday!
My husband is the king of gift giving. He's one of those guys who just instinctively knows how to move you to tears. Over our ten years together, he has gotten me some wonderfully thoughtful gifts—from books, to fancy pens, to jewelry, to tools and technology for my writing.
But the best present came about two years ago. My husband bought me a cock. Yep, you read that right. He bought me my very own cock.
I've made no secret of the fact I'm transgender. After years of pretending to be the gender of the body I was born into, I finally embraced my life as the man I was meant to be. The transition hasn't always gone smoothly, and the situation certainly raised some eyebrows with my straighter than straight husband's family. Nevertheless, Hubby made his feelings clear early on, and he has been wonderfully supportive through it all.
So, a couple of years ago, one of my birthday presents was a trip to our local adult store. I figured we were just there to look for new toys. Imagine my surprise when my husband took my hand and led me to the strap-on aisle. We painstakingly went through every option, debating on material strength, sturdiness of fasteners, sizes, and colors. In the end, we settled on a lovely black leather harness and a purple cock. My shiny new cock was the sweetest, most thoughtful gift anyone has ever given me.
I haven't gotten to use it yet—Hubby is emphatically NOT a bottom—but I do put it on every now and then just for the feel of it. I hope that I'll meet Mrs. Right soon, and get a chance to wear it out. Or at least give it a good test run!
But it just goes to show that sometimes the most unorthodox things can mean the most to those we love. Hubby could have easily gone the tame, plain route and bought me a nice necklace, or a new t-shirt, or even a new mouse pad. Instead, he stepped outside his comfort zone and into mine, and that, even more than the cock, is really the best gift.
Not that I'm complaining about the cock. J

Thanks for stopping buy, guys! I've been having trouble getting pages to load on my browser, so I just saw your comments! Hubby's definitely a keeper - he's been so wonderful about the whole transgender thing! He's the best part of me, and I"m so lucky to have him! :-)
