This is what I am calling the first annual POW/MIA Hop...I hope those that joined me this year, will again next year...and those that didn't know or didn't have time this year..will be able to next year.
I am donating $2 per comment to a military charity. I'm narrowing it down (as it's so difficult) and will announce what charity will be getting the extra donation when I announce the hop winners.
So, to enter today....Just leave a comment related to POW/MIA....
You can win your choice of ebook for Bound by Sedcution (1, 2 or 3) or Bound by Temptation 1 or 2
Be sure to leave an email address so that I have a way to contact you. Also, be sure to stop by the other days of the hop to enter the daily giveaways as well.
Then, stop by everyone else on the hop as well :D

Thanks for putting together this hop for the troops!

I am very proud of the military of the US. I served four years and my husband retired after 23 years! Many of my family members were /are vets and my uncle was a POW in Vietnam.

What a wonderful thing to do Kharisma! There are so many military characters in romance that we just adore but how great to turn that focus on the real men and women they're based on and that give so much for our protection every day. Thank you for remembering the men and women who've given everything and doing something in their honor.

I have read few miltary romance stories, the first one that comes to my mind is Jenna's Cowboy (the soldier comes home from 2 tours of duty after being wounded and suffering from "flashbacks"-this is contemporary romance with no erotica scenes just Plain Jane type but was good nonetheless..) My fiance and I read it together...
ReplyDeleteMy family has several members in different branches...

What a wonderful idea! I haven't read too many military stories, since they always sound so intense, but I really appreciate our armed forces and think military families are awesome.

What a very worthy reason for your hop! I remember when the guys came back from 'Nam and it was tough to see the changes.
ReplyDeleteI love reading Military romances so I'll definitely be watching out for some good finds during the hop.

What a wonderful Hop! I don't think that our military men & women get enough recognition. I have family who is/has been in the military. It takes a special person to serve our country and protect people that you have never met. I am truly thankful to all of them! :)
